Single Pair Extension Wire Twisted Shielded Construction

We supply 20 AWG cable in 100, 200, 500 or 1000 ft lengths in either thermocouple cable types KX, TX, JX, NX or SX/RX. Each conductor is insulated in either Heat Resistant PVC or PFA, the wires are then twisted, shielded with aluminum Mylar® tape and then overall sheathed in the same material. All conductors used (except for compensating cable) are made from the relevant thermocouple material and meet ANSI MC96.1 up to the maximum operating temperature of the insulation material. The insulation material is color coded to ANSI MC96.1-1982 as shown below.
  • 20 AWG twisted pair, shielded with aluminum Mylar® tape and overall sheathed construction
  • Heat Resistant PVC rated to 220ºF or PFA rated to 480ºF
  • Color coded :- Type KX: yellow outer sheath, yellow positive wire and red negative wire Type TX: blue outer sheath, blue positive wire and red negative wire Type JX: black outer sheath, white positive wire and red negative wire Type NX: orange outer sheath, orange positive wire and red negative wire Type SX/RX: green outer sheath, black positive wire and red negative wire
